I know you’re wanting to expand your business to its next level… but you don’t want to burn out in the process..

You’re absolutely done with the idea of being a slave to your business and you’re ready to enter your laid back era…

You want the ability to reach 5+ figure months but you're not willing to sacrifice your wellbeing, your time or relationships to get there…

WHAT YOU WANT IS TO SCALE SPACIOUSLY

This is a concept I’ve coined to encompass this movement that I'm really passionate about leading in my business where I support female business owners to create a highly profitable, fulfilling and impactful 1:many online business.. and it’s the way that I am passionate about running my own business as well.

To scale spaciously is to do so from a place of intentionality.. It is to create the systems and processes that will support your to grow in a grounded and sustainable way.. Not just copy+pasting some other coaches strategy that wasn’t built for you…

Why I’m so passionate about this? Because I know what the alternative is… I’ve seen my clients in it and I’ve been there myself… I know just how easy it can be to have built something you HATE without even realising it… and just finding yourself burnt out and resenting your business.

You probably started your business because you didn't want to work “a normal job”

🤞🏼 You wanted freedom
🤞🏼 You wanted flexibility
🤞🏼 You wanted that different kind of stability that comes with being in control and running your own business

You don’t necessarily want the millions but you do want an abundant income…

Here’s the thing about this… it requires a really simple business model…

You don’t need to have a gazillion offers selling passively..

You still get to do the work you're so passionate about..

There’s three key pillars to scaling spaciously that I want to share with you.

1 | A SIGNATURE OFFER

No, you don’t need a fully built out ascension model, you don’t need to launch something new every month.. What you need is a core offer that you become EXTREMELY well known for in your industry. Having one signature offer *particularly when you are just beginning your scaling journey* will simplify everything for you and is a fast track to being able to master your craft, your messaging, your marketing, lead generation and sales.

2 | TECH AS TEAM

No, you don’t need a fully built out ascension model, you don’t need to launch something new every month.. What
I strongly believe that most people hire wayyy before they need to.. When you’re looking to get yourself out of the busy work in your business you should look to automated systems and processes BEFORE you hire another person to take over the work. Automations are more reliable than a person plus they work 24/7..

Here are a few of my favourite automations for coaches & creatives
- Following up failed payments
- Adding info to your data tracker (sales, opt ins etc)
- Giving access to bonus materials during a sales period
- Following up on forms/information etc

This isn’t to say you shouldn’t hire at all but automate the things you can and then bring someone in for the things you can’t/to manage the automations.

3 | SIMPLE OPERATIONS

When we have a process and we know what we’re doing in business things get done with 10x more ease and in less time. Having simple operations means you find the things than move the needle in your business and you focus on that in the most efficient way - having a process for the way you create, launch and deliver your offers and for how you collect data so you know what’s actually working for yu and what isn’t.

BLOG TRANSRIPT

Hello and welcome to the spacious scaling podcast. I am really excited to be finally sharing this episode with you. It has been something that has been on my vision board and my to do list for a very long time. And to be completely honest with you, I have been just too much of a perfectionist to give it a go when I didn't feel fully prepared.

And like I had enough to say, but here we are, I'm doing the thing finally. And I wanted to take some time to record this episode as A little bit of an introduction and I really want to dive into the concept of spacious scaling, which of course is the name of the podcast and why I am so passionate about this concept and this movement and give you a little bit of information on myself.

So here we go. If you are new to my world or you don't really know much about my work and my business, then I want this to be the place where you can get some of that foundational information. And I'm also gonna try and keep it nice and short because if you are anything like me, you probably just wanna like dive in and start listening to the content and the actual episodes.

But yeah, I wanted to provide an introduction first, and I guess my intention with this podcast episode is that. You will listen to this first episode and really get a feel for if this is going to be a place that is going to provide some valuable content for you. And it's going to be worth you spending your precious time listening to.

And yeah, I really hope that it is. So let's begin by touching on this concept, this idea of spacious scaling, which is a term that I have come up with to encompass this movement that I'm really passionate about leading in my business and the way that I am passionate about doing business as well, because to me, spacious scaling is the act of intentionally growing and scaling our business, our income, our impact all in a way that feels really good, spacious and grounded. And it isn't going to lead to us feeling burnt out and resenting our business and building something that we actually hate. And I know that that can actually be really easy. Like one moment, you've got this idea to start this business. And then before you know it, you can be running this thing.

That isn't what you want, right? Like you probably started your business because you didn't want to work in quote unquote, the normal world in a normal nine to five, You wanted freedom, you wanted flexibility, you wanted that different kind of stability that comes with being in control and running your own business, but you could possibly find yourself either already there, like going down the path of running a business that feels similar to what you were trying to avoid and escape in the first place.

And I think it can be really common to do that. And really, Easy to find ourselves on that path. And I know myself, I have definitely found myself running my business before in a way that didn't feel good to me. And it wasn't that I. Didn't feel like I was being intentional. It's just that things can kind of snowball and We end up there before we know it.

And so whether you're listening to this episode and you You can relate and you are like balls deep in a business right now That feels like absolute shit to run or maybe you can feel yourself going down that path Or maybe you're just really conscious of not ever ending up there You I just want you to know that like you are not alone and so many more people than you know have probably found themselves in that similar situation.

And so what spacious scaling really means to me is building and growing a business that does not feel like that. And still being a business that is capable of holding the amount of clients and the amount of income that you truly desire in order to live the life that you really want to live. Because I think there can be this idea and this.

This concept that you need to work really hard and commit all of this like time and energy into your business in order to see success. And whilst I don't think that is untrue, like building a business is hard. It does take time. It does take energy and it does take effort. I think there is a way that we can experience that.

While still being really intentional, intentional about the way we are doing business and, you know, making sacrifices from a place of like conscious choice and intention and committing ourselves to the bigger picture rather than running ourselves down in a business that feels like absolute shit and that we're not taking intentional action in and making sure that we're doing the other things in our life that make those sacrifices.

Manageable. Right. And of course, I think that journey and that experience is going to look different and play out differently for everyone. And I guess something that I also want to touch on here, especially as I'm talking about the idea of scaling and intentionally making more money in your business. I really don't think there is any shame and anything wrong with wanting to make money in your business and make a lot of money.

And I feel like this is important to say because especially if your work is centered around providing impact and you feel like what you do in your business is like part of your soul work and it's really deep. Yeah, maybe like more spiritual work, you're a healer of some sort, you work in like a wellness modality.

It can sometimes be really easy to think that what we are doing is for the good of everyone else. And that we shouldn't care about the money or like we can't care about helping other people whilst also like making lots of money. And I really just want you to know that this is like a safe space and that this is a place where it is okay to care about making a lot of money.

And that doesn't mean that it takes away from the integrity or the depth of the work that you do with your clients. And. Yeah, I know for myself and like the people that I attract, it is really about the both and right. It's about growing a business that is really supportive of ourselves and our lifestyle and allows us to be fully present in our offline life, whilst also deeply caring about the work that we do and the transformation that we offer our clients.

And so this , spacious scaling movement is about being able to enjoy. The whole process even when it means that we are stretching ourselves and feeling challenged in that process of growing and scaling. We are doing it in a way that feels really good and nourishing to ourselves.

And so something else that I want to touch on here is that I am really passionate about simple business. Like if your vision is to have like a really big business to scale to like, you know, multi seven figures with a big team and lots of offers and lots of stuff going on and like having this complicated business model, then this is not going to be the space for you.

And I'm not the person for you because that way of business does not interest me in any way. And that's not to say that there's anything wrong with it. It's just not the way that I'm interested in doing business, and I know that for myself and for the people that I work with, what is likely to be the truth is that you want to build a business that is maybe going to be generating low to mid multi six figures.

You want to have a lean team, simple operations and have a business that is set up to support you to do the work that you really love in a way that feels good for you and for your family, for your lifestyle, and you know, Have a business that has the systems and processes that mean that you don't always need to be on.

You don't need to be constantly creating and chasing the next thing. You can be really content and have a spacious life, do all the things you love whilst also having a wildly profitable business. Enjoyable and scalable business and so that is my definition of spacious scaling and what I am really passionate about supporting other women in business to achieve in their own businesses and I do that through supporting them with business strategy launch strategy.

Offer creations and the systems and operations and having all of the things that we need to have set up in our business to ensure that it is running like an actual business, not a hobby that is demanding every ounce of our spare time and energy and requires you to like show up live and do everything in order for it to run smoothly.

I'm sorry. I honestly think that my gift is being able to see the bigger picture and see all of the things that need to happen in order to reach our goals and to get things done. Done and being able to find the most efficient pathway for someone to get there based on their values, their desires, their circumstances, their strengths, and their skillset.

And I think that is very true and reflective of my human design as well. I have been leaning into learning a lot more about myself through the lens of human design lately. And if you're interested in this, I am a three, five self projected projector. I have a very open chart.

I only have two defined centers in my chart, which is my throat and my G center, my identity center, which I also think is a reason why this podcast is going to be really pivotal for me is to have this channel that I can use my voice in and to speak like my throat is one of my only defined centers in human design.

And I find a lot of clarity comes through when I'm able to speak and use my voice. So. Yeah. And I think also being a three, five, like being able to have a space where I can share my experiences with you, what I have found that has worked and not worked. And yeah, I'm just really excited to use this podcast to support myself in sharing this movement of spacious scaling with you and to really simplify the process of growing and scaling your business, because I definitely feel like we can overcomplicate things sometimes.

We can look at what everyone else is doing and feel like we need to be doing the same things in order to get to that level of success. And very often that would lead to us either doing things before we're ready, doing things that just aren't right for us and the person that we are, or like skipping steps that are really important to us.

Putting the foundations down for our growth. And so that is what I really want to use this platform for is to share my experiences, my thoughts, my knowledge around business and everything that I have learned in the last almost five years of both running my own six figure business and also supporting other women in their business and men.

I do work with one male client. And it's Yeah, I've supported my clients to achieve really incredible results in their business. And so I feel like coming from this background of working with my clients in such an intimate capacity, I have primarily been working as an online business manager for the last four and a half years.

Which means I've been like their right hand person that supports them in taking their visions and grounding it into the 3D and making it actually come to life. And so being an OBM, and at least the way that I have worked as an OBM, I am like right in their business, right? I know their business as well as I know my own.

And so it means that I have been able to see, you know so much, see all of these experiences, different strategies and ideas play out for different people. And I think. That experience alongside my own design and my experience running my own business is really powerful to be able to support other women in business.

And yeah, in the new ways that I want to show up and like new offers that I want to be creating, I'm really excited to be able to harness all of my experience and change some of the things that I'm doing in business and offer new things, which is really exciting to say. Because I definitely feel like there has been a pull in the last little while to change up the way that I'm working and to start introducing some new offerings, which has actually been a really natural progression because over the last couple of years I have, alongside my OBM services, Also been supporting clients in a more like strategic business coaching capacity, providing them strategy, launch strategy, like feedback on their marketing and their copy and those sorts of things behind the scenes.

And I have felt really recognized for my insights in that space, which obviously as a projector is so important and kind of provides a bit of a, What can I say? I don't know, like a light bulb moment or like a ping to follow. So yeah, I just feel like I have the skills to be able to ask the right questions and provide the right feedback to help people get really clear on what it is that they're doing in business.

And so all of that so far, right. Has been happening behind. the scenes. And I feel like now is really the time where I want to start taking action on moving those things into how I present my business publicly and creating new offers around that. And yeah, I'm just really excited to have new ways to support women in business, to give them the frameworks and the processes and the support that they need to reach the results that they want.

In a really tangible way, right? Because I think that my gift is being able to ground things into the 3D. It's like, cool, you have this huge vision, lots of ideas, and I'm really able to pull that down into a plan, into a process that's going to work for them and be supportive of all of the other things that they have going on in life.

And so, I'm really excited to be able to use this podcast as a way to do that. And I'm really excited that you're going to be here along for the ride with me. So I think that is kind of a perfect time to wrap up this first episode. I'm feeling like that is. Complete. I might've gone on a little ramble there.

Thank you so much for tuning in and I'm excited to hear your feedback, hear any thoughts that you have from listening to the first lot of episodes. And I guess what you can expect from this podcast moving on from here is going to be weekly episodes. That is at least what I'm committing to at the moment.

And if I'm going to be completely honest with you, that does feel a little bit challenging because. I often feel like I go through these periods where I don't feel like I have much to say, I don't have any unique thoughts or ideas, and I know that that is not the case. And it is probably just the fact that I have so much openness in my chart.

Like I have an open mind. I don't have consistent access to knowing those ideas and thoughts. And yeah, that means that committing to a weekly episode where I have to create new content and show up and create new episodes does feel a bit challenging, but it also feels like a challenge that I really want to commit myself to.

And. You know, even though there might be times when I feel like I have nothing to say, I'll just start talking and I know that something will come up. So I might just need a bit of an energetic clear out or whatever, but anyway, besides the point, we're going to go with weekly episodes and yeah, thank you so much again for tuning in and I'm excited to dive deeper with you.
